At Lynnwood, you can worship with us online via livestream, where community members greet and share prayer requests in the chat, or in person. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by our community. If you have young children, our nursery is available, staffed by caring volunteers. In the sanctuary, music plays as we settle in, with a prelude to center us in God's presence. Our service includes songs, prayers, scripture, a message, and reflections on faith. We close by sharing prayer requests and singing one final song.
Music plays a vital role in the worship experience at Lynnwood Reformed Church, enhancing the spiritual connection through song. From traditional hymns to contemporary Christian music, or from kid songs during youth-led services, our church offers a variety of musical expressions that inspire reflection, praise, and community.
Whether through the uplifting harmonies of the choir or the vibrant energy of the worship band, music is a key part of how we engage in worship together. We welcome everyone to join in this joyful expression, either as a participant or a listener, as we come together to celebrate our faith through music.
We believe our God is the Almighty Creator of all there is, Jesus is God's Son, and the Holy Spirit who gives us life and renews us.
We believe scripture is the foundational guide for our life of faith.
We believe in three creeds that were written in the first few centuries after Jesus’s death: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
We hold to four statements of belief to help guide us in our life of faith: the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Belhar Confession.
